George Nelson Multi Coloured Ball Clock

The Ball Clock, multi-coloured version, was designed by Georg Nelson in 1950. The clock is a part of a whole series of special wall and table clocks and in the 50's it was very popular to  interpret commen objects of the every day life into something new. The clock embodies the absolute feeling of the 50's and reflects the constand drive for progress and prosperity which makes it an indispensable classic. The clock movement of the multi-coloured ball is supported by a housing of aluminium and the radial rods mounted with spheres which are painted in different colours.
