DescriptionThe Swan chair (also known as 'The Swan') was designed specially for the lobby of the Radisson SAS Royal hotel in Copenhagen in 1958. The Egg was also designed for this purpose and was one of the last works of art by Arne Jacobsen. The period for his mordern and forward-looking design is determined by the curves and the shape that gives the overall picture of the chair which has an organic impression. The reinforced fiberglass shell of the chair is padded with cold foam and rests on a steel frame. Click the star-shaped base in to the pressurized aluminium frame. For the cover of the seat you can chose different fabrics and leather materials. The Arne jacobsen Swan Chairis part of several design collections in museums worldwide. This design, among others, is represented in the permanent collection og the Museums of Modern Art in New York.
