Ludwig Mies van der Rohe Barcelona Ottoman (2 seats)

A brilliant and easy bench, inspired of the creations of everywhere recognized Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. The original one was created in 1929 for the German stand for the International exhibition of Barcelona. At the time of the opening ceremony, the seats, accompanied by their separate foot-rest were used as thrones for the Spanish royal couple. A simple but tastefull design, with its fine leather and its polished metal, this bench shows the great skills that Ludwig van der Rohe had to adapt furniture to spaces of life.
