Description

This Ox Chair with Ottomane is a retreat place where you can relax. The original piece was designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1960 and it shows the different possible seating positions for total relaxation. Despite its luxurious looks the chair is very light. Its solid stability is ensured by the partial processing of polished chromed steel. The good upholstery invites for relaxing hours in this classic design

Hans J Wegner trained as a cabinet-maker before attending the Copenhagen School of Arts and Crafts, where he later lectured. His work is representative of the excellent craftsmanship and commitment to modern living that made mid-century Danish design internationally popular.
