Hans J. Wegner Papa Bear Ottoman

This stool belongs to the Papa Bear Chair, both designed by Hans J. Wegner. Together with the Papa Bear Chair the Ottoman made a set which originaly was known as the Teddy Bear chair.The chair was out of production untill 2003 where the production started again and the "new" name, The Papa Bear Chair, was given. The Teddy Bear Chair was given its original name after a critic had called the armrests "great bear paws"  and said it was like they were embracing you from behind. The stool is available in three types of covering, Cashmere, Classic leather and premium leather, all available in many colours. We also offer the Papa Bear Chair.
