The 654 W ottoman was designed by Jens Risom and was made to match the 654 W 'Lounge Chair'. The designs were presented in 1939 in ' Collie's House of Ideas' at the world exhibition in New York. In the early 40's, Jens Risom, together with Hans Knoll, founded the Hans Knoll Furniture Company where the Risom '600' series was designed. Because of the war and the shortage of materials, the chair was originally made out of parachutes. The wooden frame on the Jens Risom 665 W chair is available in different North American Hardwood variations. The seat fabric is woven sotton and is also availabole in different colour variations. The Ottoman fits perfectly with the 654 W Lounge Chair but it can also be used alone or can also combined with the 665 W and 666 W chairs.
