The Shell Chair was designed as a lounge chair in the early 1960's by Ib Kofoed-Larsen. The shape of the chair reflects the progressive design and makes it one of the most important pieces of furniture of the Modern Mid-Century. The overall design of the chair is defined by the curved lines that merge into wings, thus creating the impression of a floating loghtness. The frame is available in different types of Danish and North American wood. For the covering you can choose between different variations of leather and fabrics in several colours.
