The Arco Lamp is an absolute design classic, exuding modern style and good taste. It has become an icon of the 1960s, but has remained incredibly popular to this day. This Castiglioni lamp is part of the permanent exhibition at the New York Museum of Modern Art. The Arco Lamp is more than functional; it is a piece of art. The brothers Achille and Pier Castiglioni developed the Arco Lamp in 1962. Its design, which is inspired by a simple street lamp, combines the advantages of a floor and a hanging lamp, courtesy of its eight-foot long arm. The base of INFURN’s reproduction consists of a stylish, hand-carved marble block, available in two colors, the fixture is held by the sturdy arched carbon steel shaft.
