Poul Henningsen was a danish architect, revue writer, film director and designer of lamps. Poul Henningsen is known for his PH lamps and this lamp (PH kugelamel) is considered to be the big brother of PH 3/2 and PH 4½/3½. This lamp is a high quality reproduction of Poul Henningsen's classics. This lamp is considered to be a classic masterpiece which Poul Henningsen created more than 40 years ago. PH kuglamel is build out of 8 shades. You can often see this lamp in big modern buildings where it is being used as light source. The lamp has white shining tones in the top to create a more sparkling light contrary to the dim bottom of the light which helps diminish reflections from the light source.
