While his sofas and chairs look like they were shaped by wind or water, Finn Juhl’s Eye Table (1946) brings a touch of sobriety to the mix. Although, that’s not to say this Table isn’t daring. Designed when Juhl was very interested in abstract paintings and sculptures, the Table stands on three legs with stretchers – one of which has a more fluid form – and an eye-shaped rounded tabletop.
