After teaching jewelry and metal work Bertoia joined forces with Charles and Ray Eames for the Evans Product Company and experimented with molded-plywood seating. In 1950, he established a studio in Pennsylvania and introduced his famous "Wire Chair", made of welded steel lattice work. We find that once people see it, they want to try it out. The Harry Bertoia Wire Chair functions perfectly as a dining or kitchen furniture.
The chair is manufactured according to the original design specifications. The highly polished 305 stainless steel frame has minimum flexibility and is of excellent quality.
Quality built for a lifetime of use!
