Achille Castiglioni Viscontea Pendel Lampe

 

This extraordinary lamp, developed in 1960 by the exceptional designers Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, is a wonderful centerpiece. The pendant, resembling a cocoon, bathes your room in a diffused light and creates a special atmosphere. The organic shape evokes the feeling of being at one with nature.Its unique form is created by building a white powder-coated internal steel structure upon which a unique “cocoon” resin is sprayed to form the light diffuser. The entire lamp is then sealed with a protective finish.
