Eye Clock inspired by George Nelson

The Eye Clock was designed by George Nelson in a monochrome version in 1957. The clock is a part of a whole series of special wall and table clocks and in the 50's it was very popular to  interpret commen objects of the every day life into something new. The clock embodies the absolute feeling of the 50's and reflects the constand drive for progress and prosperity which makes it an indispensable classic. The clock is made out of aluminium which is embedded in walnut wood. The body of the clock is made out of maple and walnut wood and the hands are made out of copper.
