The shape of the seat resembles an ant with its head raised, hence the name, with flowing curves that command the eye. Despite its compact form, the Ant Chair’s ergonomic design makes it a comfortable perch, even for extended periods. When it was developed in 1951, the chair was very avant-garde and it is still modern today.Like the original, INFURN’s high-quality replica of the Ant Chair is made of nine-layer, textured plywood, molded under steam pressure.
