The Charles Eames DSW chair (Dining height Side chair Wood) combines comfort and style in a practical seating solution. The attractive curved form is perfectly adapted to the shape of the body and the seat is mounted on shock absorbers, ensuring optimum seating comfort. The seat is part of the Plastic Chair Group developed in the early 1950's for the Low Cost Furniture Design Competition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The products in the competition were the first industrially manufactured plastic chairs. INFURN’s replica of the DSW comes with stylish wooden legs, interconnected using black metal wires. Originally the chair was made out of fiberglass but INFURN has added a less expensive plastic version. The seat is available in various vibrant colors.
