The 3107 – Series 7 Chair by Arne Jacobsen is the epitome of convenience and style. Its sleek, modern design, as well as looking stunning, can also be stacked to save space. A black model of this chair is a part of the permanent exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. Arne Jacobsen used lamination technology in which layers of plywood glued together are pressed into shape with the help of steam. A layer of cotton fabric is incorporated between the front and back layer. The four-legged frame is made of chromed tubular steel. The seat is available in several colors of natural and painted plywood, with or without visible wood structure and two different seat heights.
