The Arco Lamp is an absolute design classic, emanating style and grace. It epitomizes the spirit of the 1960s but has remained incredibly popular to this day and, as such, it now forms part of the permanent exhibition at the museum of Modern Art in New York. The Arco Lamp is not just functional; it is a piece of art. The brothers Achille and Pier Castiglioni developed the Arco Lamp in 1962. Its design, which is inspired by a simple street lamp, combines the advantages of a floor and a hanging lamp, courtesy of its eight-foot long arm. The base of INFURN’s reproduction consists of a stylish marble block, available in two colors, and the shaft is made of carbon steel.
