The BL 1 desk lamp, was designed in 1930 by Robert Dudley
Best. Back then this table lamp was Britain's first example for the
Bauhaus style, which is why convincing reasons were necessary before it
could go into production. The lamp only experienced its
breakthrough, when Winston Churchill put one on his desk in the
Whitehall.
It is steplessly height adjustable, pivoted and swiveling
in almost all directions. This way its light can be optimally aligned
according to application. The base plate guarantees stability.
