The Arne Jacobsen AJ Desk Lamp shares the elegant and understated style of the other AJ lamps. The unique swivel function of the shade and its asymmetrical design allow the light to be directed easily, making it ideal for reading. The circle in the base was originally intended to house an ash tray, but now just forms part of the design. Even 50 years later, this timeless piece continues to enchant.

The AJ range of lamps, including the floor and wall lamp as well as the desk light, were created as part of Arne Jacobsen’s furnishings for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen in 1960.The INFURN replica of this classic piece is made of drawn steel and can be supplied in a variety of colors.
